A great movie

Yesterday I saw a great movie about Texas Hold’em. I can’t seem to remember what it was called but I will tell you what I remember of it, I have no idea if it’s correct (I was a little bit tired and slumbering). It started of with a kid living in Las Vegas with his father who was a drunk and an addict at gambling. The boy grow up with the image of his drunken father in his head and was thinking all the time that he was not going to turn up like that. After a while when he was eighteen he decided to get a fake identity card that said he was twenty-one. One day he decided to try some gambling, just not as much as his father did and he was not going to get addicted. When he tried it the thing he noticed fast was that he was great at Texas Hold’em. He started winning a large amount of money and it was going really well. He decided to become a professional and was earning very large amounts of money, but the image of the drunken father was always in his mind. So he kept his foots on the ground so to speak and never drank a drop of alcohol. After a while he made a foolish choice and bet all of his money in one hand and lost. A couple of years went by and he decided not to play after that. One day a man enters his house and was willing to sponsor him to play in one game to make his comeback. It was a long and hard decision but he ended up thinking that he had nothing to loose from it and said yes to the man. He made a great comeback and made a large amount of money. I can’t remember anymore at this moment but that was the movie in overall.

A trip to the Casino

Today I went to the Casino at Sundsvall in Sweden with my friend called Markus. It was completely wonderful and we had a great time. We started of playing blackjack where Markus lost like twenty Kronor so it was not that bad. We went to the bar to get a drink and we met the most stunning ladies, they were really beautiful. We talked to them for a very long while and forgot to play (which was the reason we were here) but we realised that quite fast. We went back to the gambling around eleven o clock and made our way to the Texas Hold’em table, because we used to play a lot of Texas Hold’em at home with each other and our friends. While at the Texas Hold’em table we started betting small amounts of money and were winning quite much. So we started betting larger and larger amounts of money and in the end we were going for ten thousand kronor a game which was not that quite good of an idea because we had not won that large amount. The big problem is that we lost those ten thousand kronor and that was not really fun. But it truly was an experience for both Markus and me. But I do not think that we will be heading back there for a long while after that incident.
